OUR MISSION

Our mission is to develop critically conscious students who engage with their communities, demonstrate holistic well-being, and graduate with a personal plan for post-secondary success. It is Indigenous Academy's vision to promote a holistic and culturally relevant education for Indigenous students, inclusive of the following elements: Embrace Indigenous knowledge and traditions in the curriculum; foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students; encourage community involvement and partnerships; support students' emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being; promote academic excellence through culturally responsive teaching; and prepare students to be leaders and advocates for their communities.
